Our Story

Melbourne, Australia — Est. 1996

In 1996, my mother opened a small boutique in Melbourne with one belief: that the right piece of clothing could change how a woman sees herself. She chose every item with her hands and her heart. She knew her customers by name. She stayed late to steam a dress for a wedding, and opened early for a woman who needed something for a job interview.

That boutique became Harlow & Stone.

My brother and I grew up in it — folding stock after school, watching her help a mother find something for her daughter's graduation, learning that clothing is never just clothing. It is memory. It is confidence. It is a woman walking out the door knowing she is ready for whatever comes next.

When she was ready to step back, we stepped in. We carried the same belief forward for three more decades — choosing every piece with intention, every season with care, every collection with deep respect for the women who trusted us.

The Final Chapter

After 30 years, we are closing our doors.

This is our Grand Closure Sale — up to 70% off everything we have left. Every piece still on our shelves was chosen by hand. Every one has a story. And once they are gone, they will not be restocked. This is it — the final collection of Harlow & Stone.

To every woman who has worn something of ours over these 30 years — thank you. You walked through our door as a stranger and left as someone we were honoured to dress. You are the reason this story was worth telling.

With love and deep gratitude,

— The Stone Family
